LGBTQ Jews

Why We’re Here
LGBTQ Jews is a queer-affirming group that offers events and community for LGBTQ+ Jewish young professionals (and those they love) in Greater Cleveland. LGBTQ Jews creates space for queer Jews to honor the fullness of their identities, and is sponsored by jHUB.
Whether you’re new to the Cleveland area or seeking deeper connection, LGBTQ Jews offers a welcoming and vibrant space where queer Jewish young professionals can celebrate who they are—fully and unapologetically. Through social gatherings, holiday events, and meaningful conversations, we foster connection, joy, and solidarity.
We believe that queer and Jewish identities are not just compatible—they’re powerful together. LGBTQ Jews is where you’ll find people who just get it, and where being seen, supported, and celebrated isn’t the exception—it’s the norm.
Real Stories, Real Connections
Being involved with LGBT Jews means I have a place to show up as my full self. I feel as though I can engage with my Judaism and my identity at the same time in a rich and full way. The events are fun and meaningful, in ways that lead to deeper understandings. I feel supported and celebrated within LGBT+ Jews and Jhub.

I can see why it is critical that jHUB provides programs like you offered tonight. [This] was the first time she found herself in a space that honored her identities as Jew and queer. This was truly a MOMENT for [her] and I am eternally grateful to jHUB for providing this opportunity to a young queer Jew looking for a home as she navigates a new life here in the Cle.
Relative of LGBTQ Jews participant
Being Jewish and Queer in a post-October 7th world isn’t easy especially when the communities I identify with seem to be at odds with one another.
LGBTQ Jews has been my space to be outwardly proud of my Judaism and my queerness at the same time.
Everyone has been extremely welcoming and I feel safe to be myself while being surrounded by other queer Jews who share similar values.
